Position Title: Engineering Analyst
Position Summary:
Responsible for technical writing, quality documentation and assisting Engineering in product development areas.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Run trending and statistical analysis and trending on market data, validations and manufacturing processes.
- Assist in the testing/evaluation of prototypes.
- Assist in scheduling and coordinating injection mold transfers; manage validations, prepare RFQ's, interact with vendors and contribute to continuous improvement projects.
- Assist in resource management/scheduling and Gantt chart development.
- Work with Engineering to perform IQ, OQ and PQ validations.
- Responsible for technical writing/review of work instructions, design history files, IFU's, patents, ECO's, 510k research and maintenance of document control/quality documentation.
- Participate in FMEA and risk analysis programs.
- Research new technologies and materials used in the development of sleep apnea masks.
- Assist in managing Engineering software, look into new software opportunities for product development.
- Work on the documentation of manufacturing processes.
Competency Requirements:
- Experience in FDA and ISO environments
- 1-5 years of experience
- AS/BS degree in Engineering, Quality, Science or relevant experience
- Experience in the medical device industry
- Project management experience
