Sleepnet Headquarters

For nearly fifteen years, Sleepnet has manufactured high-quality gel masks used in the treatment of Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA) and non-invasive ventilation. All masks are designed and assembled by highly skilled workers in Hampton, NH, USA and are distributed across the globe.

The Sleepnet team is dedicated to providing effective, innovative, and cost effective products. Excellent masks and accessories, along with superior customer service, are our priorities; we don't compromise and we don't expect you to either.

CEO & President

With extensive business experience in areas such as real estate development, construction, and fitness, Tom's passion remains his medical business: Sleepnet. His business education and machine shop and tooling background continue to prove invaluable as he leads Sleepnet's innovative design team. In addition to being an inventor, Tom is a sleep apnea sufferer and end user. All who know him know he loves to "sleep with the competition" in order to improve the Sleepnet product line. Tom is also passionate about sharing his good fortune with his philanthropic endeavors. He was proud to rebuild his college fraternity, Sigma Beta, from the ground up in 2010. It was an important part of shaping his future and he was humbled to be able to protect it for future generations. Known for his continuing involvement in community and country, he is passionate about his quality product line. Tom lives in Rye, NH with his wife Dana and daughters Rachel and Cassie. He loves to play and coach hockey as well as other sports.

Michael B. Rubin

Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer

In addition to the global financial and strategic stewardship of Sleepnet Corporation, Michael is responsible for domestic sales, marketing, and all administrative functions of the firm. Prior to his 2010 arrival at Sleepnet, he held several business development leadership positions at Toys "R" Us, launched Total Candor - a financial planning education company - and held critical client-facing roles at Arthur Andersen and Coopers & Lybrand (now PricewaterhouseCoopers). A graduate of the University of Michigan Ross School of Business, Rubin also holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and is a registered Certified Public Accountant. Michael is an avid basketball player and lives with his wife and two young daughters just outside of Portsmouth, NH where he serves on the Board of Directors of Temple Israel.

EVP, Business Development (United States)

Gary has been actively involved in healthcare related businesses for over 20 years, primarily running medical supply distribution companies that service healthcare providers across the United States. Gary started his career by successfully building and then subsequently selling his family's distribution business – Totalmed Inc., located in Manchester, NH. After selling Totalmed he has held various senior level leadership positions with PSS/Gulf South Medical Supply. Gary lives in Jacksonville, FL, is married to his wife Joan and has two teenage boys Jonathan and Alexander.

John Halmen

John Halmen

Director of Research and Development

John started at Sleepnet in January 2011 as the Director of Research and Development. Prior to his current role he was employed by Millipore, working on filtration of biological solutions and DNA product platforms. His experience also includes work on care systems at Transmedics to keep organs alive outside of the body during transplantation. John's extensive educational background includes undergraduate degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Management and graduate degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Manufacturing Systems Engineering. Areas of expertise include medical/life science manufacturing, injection molding, and design and process validation. John is from Pigeon Cove, Massachusetts - a small coastal New England town - and enjoys hiking, carpentry, basketball, biking and classic rock music. He is married with boy/girl twins.

Jennifer Kennedy

Director of Quality

After coming on board with Sleepnet in 1996 to oversee purchasing and materials planning, Jen has since been promoted to Director of Quality. She holds a BS in business management and brings an extensive manufacturing background with strengths in operations, inventory management, planning and logistics. She played an integral part in obtaining ISO 13485 certification, and her vigilance and regulatory expertise have driven the development of the robust quality system that Sleepnet currently utilizes. Outside of Sleepnet, Jen enjoys a variety of outdoor activities as well as spending time with her husband and two teenage children.
